spores Spores of the present species measure 6.5 - 7.5 (-8.0) × 5.5 - 6.5 (-7.0) μm and are inamyloid and subglobose to broadly ellipsoid.  Clamps are absent from bases of basidia.
discussion Amanita farinosa have been found in China at elevations of 1100 to 2400 m in coniferous and mixed forests with Pine and Beech singled out as associated plants.—R. E. Tulloss
