This page is established in order to provide a temporary
code number for a species known (at present) from two
sequences. Because voucher material for these
sequences is deposited in F, there is hope that more
detail can be fleshed out on this page.
The names applied to the species in the field are
questionable. Genetically the two collections
have a
common nrITS that does not come from a species of
section Phalloideae—as would be the
case if they were
A.
virosiformis.
Nor does the common sequence match that of
A.
cylindrispora in the sense of the
present web site.
