86 - 88 mm wide, gray-brown over disc, white on margin, convex, somewhat pitted surface, dull to shiny, tacky; context white except brown under pileipellis in disc, 9 - 15 mm thick above stipe, with larva tunnels concolorous; margin nonstriate, nonappendiculate, irregular-sublobate, becoming rimose; universal veil as subpolygonal to subcircular warts with raised irregular edges, some verruculose, subpyramidal over disc, 4 - 9 mm across, whitish, detersile. |
