    cap The cap of this species has four colored zones starting with pallid brown over the stipe, then gray-brown then pallid brown at the inner ends of the radial grooves at the cap's edge, and finally gray-brown on the ridges between the radial grooves.
    odor/taste There is no information on odor or taste of this species.
    discussion The species is known from a single collection found in Oak (Quercus) dominated, deciduous forest at about 300 m elevation in Missouri.—R. E. Tulloss
