    odor/taste Odor and taste have not been reported for this species.
    spores Spores of A. cetovenoris measure (10.0-) 10.1 - 11.9 (-12.7) × (7.0-) 9.0 - 10.9 (-11.0) μm and are inamyloid and subglobose to broadly ellipsoid (rarely ellipsoid); clamps are not present at the bases of basidia.
    discussion This species is known from Atlantic subarctic heath on Saddle Island, Labrador and in Birch (Betula) forest in Norway. The Canadian specimen originally used in characterizing this probable species was formerly included in the grouping identified as Amanita sp-NFL10 on this site.—R. E. Tulloss
