    spores The spores of this species measure (4.5-) 4.8 - 6.5 (-8.0) × (3.6-) 3.8 - 5.1 (-5.5) μm, and are broadly ellipsoid to ellipsoid, usually smooth (although a few may bear minute, spiny, warts), and inamyloid.  Clamps are common at the bases of basidia.
